Bria Williams

Bria Williams (she/her) is Lagniappe Law Lab’s newly appointed Justice Bus Program Manager, where she spearheads mobile outreach that brings free legal resources and support to underserved and rural communities throughout Louisiana.

A proud graduate of Howard University, Bria holds a degree that reflects her deep commitment to service, social justice, and the empowerment of marginalized voices. This academic foundation has been the springboard for her career in program leadership, educational equity, and nonprofit strategy.

With over six years of professional experience, Bria has honed her skills in convening mission‑driven teams and forging partnerships rooted in trust and empathy. She is known for her warm, uplifting personality—qualities that make legal support feel less intimidating and more human. Her approach is rooted in authentic human connection, enabling people to feel heard, respected, and capable during their most challenging moments. She believes deeply in the power of community, joyful organizing, and the idea that justice should never depend on your zip code.

Outside of her professional life, Bria channels her empathetic nature into storytelling, community service with her beloved sorority, and celebrating the gift of life through movement and fitness.
