Lauren Kirichkow is the Legal Director at the Justice and Accountability Center of Louisiana (JAC) with extensive experience in expungement advocacy and access-to-justice initiatives. She oversees legal programming, litigates expungement and in forma pauperis matters across the state, and designs systems that expand equitable legal services for impacted communities. Lauren regularly provides Continuing Legal Education (CLE)’s on Louisiana expungement law and access to justice issues, sharing practical guidance with attorneys, advocates, and self-represented litigants across the state.

Prior to becoming Legal Director, Lauren served as a Staff Attorney with JAC, where she provided legal services related to driver’s license reinstatement, child support, TWIC eligibility, and expungement.

Prior to joining JAC, she was an Associate Attorney with Crescent City Law, LLC, representing clients in Southern Louisiana for criminal defense, traffic matters, appellate work and expungements.

Lauren earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2021.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. She was a recipient of the LSBA Pro Bono Law Student Award and has remained deeply involved in bar leadership and service, including roles with the Jefferson Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, where she serves as a Member-at-Large. She is also a District 2 representative for the Louisiana State Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Council.  

In her free time, Lauren enjoys working out, crafting, spending time with her partner, and taking her dog on walks.
